I would be grateful! These drivers don’t work with anything newer than Windows XP. The only available driver for your adapter is for XP and will have to be installed in compatibility mode.


Since not even the Linksys manufacturer bothers to update the drivers for this hardware, I’d recommend trying to get your hands on a copy of the Vista driver which is compatible with Win 7, 8. After that window abruptly closes, I checked out the Device manager and see that it has error code Windows seven has done a fantastic job with suppling drivers for most hardware.

My Local internet connection works just fine, however my compact Wireless-G USB network Adapter with SpeedBooster shows up in network however it will not connect with red X on it tried to enable, twouple shooter, uninstall reinstall with no avail. Thank You for Submitting Your Review,!

Interestingly enough, Windows 7 does correctly identify the device in the device manager, so I think it knows what product it is, but for whatever reason does not have the correct driver and cannot initiate the device, thus giving the error code. The only way to keep this from happening is to hibernate the PC.
